How many times do people need to be reminded that DT are all volunteers that do this in their spare time.

They are not a professional, paid to do it, and only it, development studio.

They have jobs and family responsibilities, and have to fit in working on the sim when the grind of real life permits.

Sometimes, here, I start to feel like an entertainer... a bad one though... and the audience is quite ... fastidious (great word, just found it in the web).

"Fastidiously" is an adverb. Considering the structure of your sentence, I think you want "fastidious".

Do the comments of one person really carry that much weight? If anything, silly comments like the one earlier should probably just be ignored, as they do not reflect the attitude of this community.
